Is it bad that I'm bored of reading for my dissertation already? I've started to dream about Autism, argh! That can't be good...can it? What on earth am I going to be like by April?

I have laryngitis at the moment brought on due to excess coughing for the last three weeks. Ironic really given I'm giving a presentation tomorrow on Chronic Laryngitis.However I'm not sure how successful the presentation will be given that I currently sound like Deidre Barlow on a bad day :(. Buggeration! Oh well shit happens.

I really don't think it's helped by the huge amounts of damp we have in the house that the moment. I seriously think that one gust of wind would have the wallpaper down in the living room at the moment. Ah well, nobody likes woodchip anyway.

Right, if anybody needs me I'll be in the corner with my nose buried in an autism journal!

I had my first meeting with my dissertation supervisor today and it went surprisingly well. I wasn't hugely confident regarding my idea for the project but she was really pleased with it and said that she wishes that somebody would actually carry out the research I'm proposing which is good to hear. Now I've just got to write the damn thing!

This afternoon, I had to endure what is normally THE most boring lecture of the week, Voice. Normally it just makes us all feel bad about all the stress and strain we actually put on our voice unintentionally. However this week we were looking at different methods you can use to work on the voice in therapy, when our lecturer muttered the immortal phrase...

"Come on ladies, open you're mouths nice and wide...so we can get good oral"!

Grrr, why do I always leave everything to the last minute? My dissertation proposal has to be handed into tomorrow and I'm currently about 50 words in! Argh! In my defense, I have already wrote one but I've since decided that my idea was complete and utter balls and would be highly unlikely to get me a good mark as there was already a fair bit of research done on it! Bollocking bastards! So I've started again moving on to the ever wonderful subject of...Autism, yay!

I've got a horrid feeling that I'll end up changing it again once I've had my first meeting with my supervisor but fuck it as long as it gets handed in I don't care!

So, I apologise now, f'listers, for the major autism based rants that are to follow in the next six months or so. Soz about that :S

I've fallen into the trap yet again!

it's the oldest story in the book, Em buys silly shoes forgetting all about the mammoth forty minute walk (uphill!!) to uni!

I am literally a walking blister! Currently, I have two on each heel, one on the inside of each foot, and one under my second toe on both feet! Can somebody please tell me how I managed to get all of those blisters in one day? Not helped by the fact that it's my best friends birthday tomorrow so we headed out to a club on Saturday night, which resulted in me getting hurty feet and deciding that walking home through the centre of Leeds barefoot would be by far the best idea that I've had since deciding to wear the new shoes in the first place. Hurty blisters with gravel in are hurty :(.

Savlon have been kept in business for the next year with my contributions to the pot this weekend. Also five blister plasters ~~for £2.99, I hasten to add. I nearly feel off my blisters when the lady in Boots told me!~~ just isn't enough. I need at least ten!

Now I've got that off my chest...how are you all?

At the risk of sounding like Victor Meldrew, I don't believe it. After the hugey cock up earlier in the week with the email, the uni decided to send out our results to us as the stupid system won't let our results go live until next Tuesday. Good plan, yeah? WRONG. I've spent the day answering texts and calls from friends asking if I've passed. Everyone else got their results today. Where are mine? I hear you ask, well let me tell you dear reader. They're in sodding Middlesborough, where my house is not, due to the staff at the sorting office going on strike for heavens knows how long. Stoopid Royal Mail iz stoopid.

Christ on a bike! I think I may need to throttle my course admin man. The, normally very efficient, admin man sent an email round at ten to six this evening (which I've only just opened) to announce our exam results had been released a week...a whole WEEK...early. AHHHHHH.

Thank you for all the Birthday wishes everybody :). I had a great day which started with an exam in which my lecturer announced "We couldn't work out how to do section A so we've decided to scrap it" Good times, but rather wish he'd told us this BEFORE I revised for it. Epic Fail! Then off to Pizza Express for a very scrummy chicken and pancetta pizza...mmm. Back home to get ready for Le crawl de pub, which culminated in much alcohol and many photos. And a GIANT hole in my tights...grrr. But all in all a good day was had by all.

That's all...I'm now off to nurse my poorly head. I'll be in the corner should anyone need me.

Worst reading experience...well Sex and the City actually hurt me to read it was so boring and poorly written. Made a million times worse by the fact I have some kind of OCD that means I can't leave a book unfinished...grr.

Urgh! I think I'm dying. I'm almost 100% certain that it's terminal bird flu that has rendered me completely useless today. I think my sinus' may well explode at any given second and my chest is going to collapse due to excess coughing. Couple that with the fact that the Lemsip I've just had has made me fell more than a little sickie...all isn't going well.

However I must solider on an finish this report I'm writing for tomorrow. It's a bit of a pain in the back passage if I'm honest (and I really should be writing it now instead of posting to my LJ). But I do have the promise of TG when it's finished so there is some light at the end of a rather long and boring tunnel. Although the light it a bit like somebody holding a candle three miles away atm but never mind eh? Will a glass of wine help this situation at all? Or is it likely to kill me what with the bird flu and all? Decisions decisions.

I have finally moved house! After months and months of organising, I now live in a real life house not a poxy little flat! Whoot! No t'internet at the moment though :( (I'm currently stealing this little bit of internetness from next door's wireless...shhhh). And I learnt a little about myself in the process...
1) I hoard junk like nobody's business!
2) I hate unpacking even more than I hate packing. Grrrr.
